What is the story behind this logo with a duck?  

One of the hallmarks of program and project management is to ensure that everything is on track to deliver the initiative on time with the highest degree of efficiency and quality.  Or using the phrase, "keeping our ducks in a row".

The nephew of our founder, Mike Lowe, began providing him with a collection of rubber ducks for him to take to his office on the road.  The collection expanded significantly.  As Mike worked on his projects, he kept the ducks in a row in his office as a reminder of how important it is to keep things organized.

When the company was rebranded in late 2023, Mike sought suggestions from his clients and peers.  One of his clients suggested that there should be a duck in the logo as a reminder since he was always complimented on his organizational skills.

When you see our logo, it may make you chuckle, but rest assured that we are serious about keeping your initiatives moving forward.  In other words, we will keep your ducks in a row!

 Mike Lowe PMP, LLC was founded in 2021 when an enterprise hospital system wanted to utilize his specific services. Mike had previously worked with this client in the past so as a result, he formed his own company in his own name to begin this work. In late 2023, Mike changed the name of the company to HPPMCI to reflect the broad scope of the services provided.

Mike Lowe, PMP, CSM, LSSBB, has worked in the Healthcare space for over 20 years as a Program and Project Manager. He has worked with cross functional teams  within large scale, highly complex environments as well as smaller solo practitioners covering most specialties. His mission is to ensure project success by providing effective leadership, communication, and collaboration with all stakeholders, from executives to end users. He has a hands-on approach and a keen eye for detail, quality, and efficiency.  

Prior to his Program/Project Management roles, Mike has dedicated his career to working in the healthcare space as he managed provider billing offices, physician practices, home health agencies and insurance claims departments.
